The Indian economy was seeing steady growth before the pandemic, and it has started to come back on track slowly after the sudden decline a few months ago. This growth will result in the creation of more employment in India. Unlike in the past, there are more career options to choose from as well for candidates with in-demand skills. Medical and engineering fields, which were the best two choices for people, no longer command the same position. There are several highest paying jobs to choose from for people with the right skills in India.

Jobs with a higher salary package are bound to attract more people. This is why there are always lots of people who pursue education that can help them land on one of the highest paying jobs in India. Even if they are already working, they will take additional courses to acquire top skills in demand so that they can make the most of the opportunity to take up the best jobs in India. It would be unrealistic to not take money as a motivating factor.

Landing one of the in-demand jobs that guarantee a high remuneration as well as career stability is always an aspiration for most of the people out there. However, it is not as easy to get the highest paying jobs without the right qualification, skill set, and experience. Searching for job profiles based on salary packages would do little good to their chances of landing one of those for themselves. What they need to do in addition to searching is finding out which of those job profiles match their interests. Working for a job just for the salary isn’t the right way to go about pursuing a career that is as financially rewarding as it is fulfilling.

Here are the top three highest paying jobs in India:

Investment banker

Not only is this a great career option but also one of the buzzwords in the financial world. As per Glassdoor, the average salary of an investment banker could be anywhere between 4 lakhs per annum to 40 lakhs per annum. Freshers can earn up to 12 lakhs per annum while mid-level professionals can make up to 30LPA.

Medical professionals

The pandemic has shown everyone the real importance of medical professionals. It has always been one of the highest paying jobs in India. According to PayScale, the average salary of a medical professional in India is around 10 lakhs per annum. More than a fourth of the total number earns somewhere around 20 lakhs per annum.

Chartered accountant

A chartered accountant is another popular job in India like engineering and medicine. Chartered accountants help individuals and businesses with banking solutions, financial accounting, and financial advising in addition to tax management. According to PayScale, the average salary of a chartered accountant in India is around 7 lakhs per annum. It can go up to 30 lakhs per annum based on experience and skills.

The other highest paying jobs in India include machine learning engineer, data scientist, management consultant, and blockchain developer amongst others.
