In 2026, employability will be depend on cultivating the following three key competencies: Digital and AI literacy; Green Capabilities; and Adaptability and Soft Skills. Employers too must adopt innovative strategies to attract, train, and retain talent in this dynamic environment. Meanwhile, India’s emergence as a global hub for Global Capability Centers (GCCs) is accelerating change. These centers are evolving into strategic engines of innovation, reflecting their global headquarters and reshaping enterprise operations. Together, these trends are positioning India at the forefront of a future-ready, digitally skilled, and sustainable global workforce.
