After a seven-year delay, over 20,000 employees will benefit, including ad least 10,000 retired employees
For the last seven years, the employees of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) employees have been hoping to be paid salary as per the 7th Pay Commission’s recommendations, which has come to fruition now. Now the NDMC employees will get their salaries as outlined by 7th Pay Commission.
In a statement to media, Kuljit Chahal, a member of NDMC, mentioned all NDMC departments’ employees will be entitled to the benefits outlined in the Seventh Pay Commission’s salary structure. The proposal was presented during the council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
