The most important relaxation by Sebi is the extension of the deadline given to companies for filing financial results for the quarter and the financial year ended March 31, 2021, to June 30. The original deadlines for the same were May 15 and May 30 respectively.

Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has relaxed some compliance norms for listed companies and market participants amid the ongoing second wave of Covid-19.

Sebi has extended the deadline for filing financial results for the quarter and the financial year ended March 31, 2021, to June 30. The original deadlines for the same were May 15 and May 30 respectively.

In normal circumstances, companies have to file their quarterly results within 45 days from the end of the quarter, which is May 15 for the March quarter, and annual results within 60 days from the end of the financial year, which is Mat 30.
