How Covid-19 Paved the Path for Edutech Evolution in 2021

We have been, for a long time, working on the traditional school system. There were no other alternatives than school or classroom education for children to perceive their conceptual knowledge. The Coronavirus Outbreak has led to a new-age and revolutionary EdTech experience for children all over the world through Digitalisation and Online learning solutions.

The learn-from-home technology was never appreciated and utilized as it’s been now.

As per a report released by KPMG India and Google, Online Education in India: 2021, the market for online education in India is expected to witness a magnificent growth of eight times in three years. Such high growth in the online education market is projected to be the outcome of the increased number of paid online education users from 1.57 million in 2016 to 9.5 million in 2021.

With the drastically-changed scenario of education in the world, approximately 260 million students were affected by the lockdown in India, a majority of which belonged in the K-12 segment. Because of this, many government and non-government bodies are coming up with new and interesting tech initiatives to enable a quality-based learning process for students.
